The conference programme, with 23 sessions and workshops, touched every theme of hydropower, from storage, to development to small hydro technologies.<\/p>\n<p>During session 18 on Thursday 16 March, we presented our paper: &#8220;Techno-Economic feasibility analysis for energy production by variable speed Francis turbines in water distribution networks&#8221;, carried out to analyze and understand the effectiveness and the potential of this technology in terms of economic and technical value.
